Problems with AvProg (Init value is not high.)

Hi all.

The problem with the eval board has appeared suddenly

Board configuration is not possible, Avnet error:

Init value is not high.
FPGA programming failed!

PSoc firmware update did not help. Can you help me to solve this problem?

thank you

Re: Problems with AvProg (Init value is not high.)

Was this board working previously?

It sounds like you may have corrupted the PSoC firmware or the driver. Was the PSoC firmware update successful? Have you tried removing and reinstalling AvProg and the driver?

Do you have access to a JTAG cable where you could try configuring the FPGA over JTAG to see if you have damaged your FPGA?

Thanks.

Board previously worked well.

PSoC firmware update was successful. Avnet + driver reinstalled. Nothing has changed.

I wasn't  trying to connect to the FPGA using a cable JTAG.

Since it worked before, and now it doesn't, it sounds to me like the board has been damaged. You could try locating a JTAG cable and use Xilinx iMPACT. This will allow you to bypass the PSoC and AvProg. That at least might provide a clue as to if it was the FPGA or PSoC is damaged.
