Please provide more info on how you are planning on using the LX150T board.

Using matlab-simulink. I am planing to convert the simlink model to hdl using system generator.

Yes, it is possible to perform video compression on the Spartan-6 LX150T development kit.

 

H264 IP is available from the Xilinx ecosystem of third party IP vendors.

One of the partners listed as supporting H264 on Spartan-6 is CoreEL:

But those H264 IPs are two costly. I already talked with coreel and A2e Technologies
