The drilled holes does not affect the primary PCB design?

Hello,

I removed the fix and now it does not work at all. As I said in previous post because of the drilled out holes the pull-up resistors does not get any Voltage as far as they are not connected via the wire to C127 capacitor which is connected to 2.5 Volts. When I removed the fix and because of the drilling out holes the pull-up resitors are not connected to a reference Voltage. Is this what we want to achieve in order to work in 1000Mbps ? Because now it does not work at all....

MDIO is still connected to 3.3 Volts. Is this the correct voltage for this pin. From datasheet it is connected to Bank3 (3.3Volts).

I think that drilling out the board was not the appropriate solution and may have damage the Ethernet operation...

What are your recommendations from now on?

The only other thing I can offer you would be to have you ship the board to our PCB designer (Sean Mentzer) so that he can figure out what is wrong with it. If you choose to take this offer, please send the board to:

I find shipping really hard to achieved due to  cost and time.

I would recommend to communicate with Sean Mentzer via Internet if this is possible...

Some additional information after removing the fix are (resistors and capacitors involved in the fix):

All resistors when the board is powered on are connected to 2.5 Volts.

Voltage in J1 was measured equal to 2.5 Volts despite being unconnected from anywhere.

The measured resistance between C127 and R18 is 0 while with all the others is 100 Ohm.

All RJ45 Jack pins Voltage is equal to 2.5 Volts.

Moreover, I cannot find the Revision E schematics in Avnet page. I have the revision D schematics. Is there any difference.

I would like to ask if you can find an extra board for us. Even if it is used.

As i told in previous post we have a project running waiting for the implementation which was based on this board..

I am kindly waiting for your response...
