13.3 With Digilent Tool

Hello Every One,

Is there any special files I want to download & install to program LX9 micro board for Xilin 13.3. I am using Windows XP & The device manager shows Digilent USB device also. Am I missing anything ?

Note: Its works fine for me in Xilixn13.2

Re: 13.3 With Digilent Tool

Hello all,

I've got a similar problem on my 64 Bit Ubuntu. 13.2 works very good but 13.3 cannot program the FPGA.

SDK only tells "Program FPGA failed Reason: FPGA configuration encountered errors." Neither the "Details" button nor the Console windows give any further information.

Impact gives the following message:

WARNING:iMPACT -  Module windrvr6 is not loaded. Please reinstall the cable drivers. See Answer Record 22648.

But Answer Record 22648 does only refer to Xilinx cables and Google does not seem to know any answer.

Thanx for any help!

HI All,

There seems to be an issue with ISE 13.3 and I'm investigating this now..  Stay tuned..

Re: 13.3 With Digilent Tool

HI All,

To fix this, after installing the 13.3 Xilinx tools, you must manually run the Digilent Installer(install_digilent.exe) found in: C:\Xilinx\13.3\ISE_DS\ISE\bin\nt\digilent.

Additionally, you must check to install Adept Runtime and Digilent CsePlugin components:

That should fix it.

Re: 13.3 With Digilent Tool

Thanx, works fine!

For the Linux users:

cd /opt/Xilinx/13.3/ISE_DS/ISE/bin/lin64/digilent/ (lin32 if you have 32 bit Linux)

sudo ./install_digilent.sh

Kind regards

Stephan
