sending/receiving data through usb-J-Tag interface

Hello everybody ~
i need to help in sending/Receving data from/to computer to/from FPGA board (Spartn6 9LX microBoard). BUT through the USB-JTAG interface only . I dont want use USB-UART interface in my project . can i do that?

The USB-JTAG interface is only used for programming the MicroBoard.   Alternatively this can be used with ChipScope to debug HW on-board.
Additionally ChipScope can be used to control I/O in the FPGA using a VIO core.   So you could not send data through it, but you could control
circuitry onboard.

 

An alternative is to buy a Pmod_UART and create a 2nd UART using the onboard Pmod interfaces..

Can you give me any sources about chipscope ?
Another question, Can i do what you say without should add any Hardware on My FPGA ?

You can ask your local Avnet/Silica FAE for the ChipScope Training material.  That will show you how to add a VIO core.

 

I'm not sure I understand your 2nd question.
