almost OMAPL138 has heatup problem and are broken down on our custom boards.

Of cource, reference board too.

there is heatup problem on ti-dvsdk_omapl138-evm_4_02_00_06.

but there's not on ti-dvsdk_omapl138-evm_4_03_00_06

I can't have seen broken-down problem on ti-dvsdk_omapl138-evm_4_03_00_06 yet.

In this case, how can I do setting on ti-dvsdk_omapl138-evm_4_02_00_06?

Is there any solution?

Re: OMAPL138 has a heatup problem or broken down problem?

Hello,

Can you please be more specific about the problem?  It will be very difficult to help unless we have more information.

You've mentioned that you haven't seen this problem on one version of the DVSDK but you have on an earlier version.  What hardware are you running on with that DVSDK?  The Avnet S6OMAP board or your own board?

When the system breaks, how does it break?  What is the error condition?  When does it happen?  Does it occur after a certain time, or randomly, or after a certain event?

When the module heats up, what is the temperature of the surface of the CPU on the module?  We can compare that to what we have seen on our side and tell you if that is higher than what we have seen.

Regards,

John

Re: OMAPL138 has a heatup problem or broken down problem?

The OMAP-L138 device in this kit is part of a System on Module (SOM) from Logic PD.

I would recommend contacting Logic PD or Texas Instruments E2E forum for issues with their EVM software.
